Fun to Learn Montessori school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and caring environment based on Montessori philosophy. Our excellent curriculum (program), along with the loving personal care offered by our committed teachers, fosters healthy development of both body and mind of a child. We pride ourselves in offering an independent, harmonious, safe, peaceful and clean environment to our children.
"We do not prepare the child for school but for life." Dr. Maria Montessori.
Fun to Learn is a CCMA accredited School
Fun to Learn Montessori School (FLM) was established by its Director, Ms. Shahla Ambreen in November of 2004 with a commitment to excellence in Montessori education and a devotion to the nurturing of young minds. Though the school was initially licensed only for Casa students, within six months FLM received the toddler license as well. Since then, with the hard work of our dedicated director and staff, FLM continues providing the best in Montessori for its students.
From its beginning, FLM has forged strong bonds with all of the parents and children that it serves and they always leave very happy with the sophisticated level of education being provided. The schooling that children receive at FLM teaches them life skills that give them an indispensable advantage when they enter elementary school.
The aim of FUN TO LEARN MONTESSORI SCHOOL is to provide an early childhood program which is developmentally appropriate for children 18 months to 5 years. We want to help your child become a creative, competent and confident human being, who is fully aware of him/herself in relation to others and the world around him/her. Positive experiences in early years of life help to develop a positive approach towards self and others in later years of life.
Children at FLM learn at their own pace, spontaneously and creatively. They develop a sense of independence and self esteem. The FLM Staff encourages the children to choose tasks, make their own decisions and accomplish the joy of learning. At FLM we strive to provide the students a firm foundation of academic and problem solving skills. Low student/teacher ratio enables the child to get proper attention to learn and flourish. The FLM teachers present the children with work materials that are specifically designed to develop the five senses and also encourage them to involve in activities that require sequential, manipulative and sensorial development. These tasks also help the children to master motor functions providing them the means to take care of themselves and their environment.
